Temporary file created by iAntiVirus (iAV), a virus scanning program for Mac OS X; contains files or parts of files that may contain viruses; saved in the /Library/iAntivirus/temp directory by default.

NOTE:

Old VBT files should be automatically deleted when iAV starts up; if the files are not automatically deleted, they make take up several gigabytes of space over time; if this happens, the VBT files can be manually deleted to free up disk space.
