文件说明：

Texture file used by mobile devices and the Sega Dreamcast; provides a container that hosts compressed texture data and is optimized for POWERVR graphics chips; designed for displaying performance graphics in devices with smaller hardware footprints, such as mobile devices.

PVR files may be compressed from other image formats, such as .PNG, using the Imagination Technologies PVRTC compression utility; since PVR files are optimized for POWERVR chips, it is recommended that texture graphic files be converted to this format in POWERVR devices.

NOTE:

The PVR file format is lossy.
